The dock includes USB-C Power Delivery up to 100 W, HDMI output up to 4K60, Ethernet, USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 up to 10 Gbps, and two internal USB 2.0 connections. It also has a removable magnetic tray where the USB Hub Module lives. That space can be repurposed for small-item storage, such as AirPods or compact retro controllers. Custom tray add-ons for items such as SD cards and USB drives are also being developed.

No. The dock is not currently compatible with cases, including the TPU shell sold by AYN. Remove the case or shell before placing the AYN Thor on the dock.

PLA is the standard everyday 3D-printing material and the most affordable option. It offers the widest base-color selection, but it has less heat and UV resistance than PETG or ASA Carbon Fiber. PETG is tougher and provides better heat and UV resistance, with a slightly shinier finish that still maintains a clean, semi-matte appearance. ASA Carbon Fiber is the premium option, offering excellent rigidity, durability, dimensional stability, UV resistance, heat resistance, and a matte textured finish.

Depending on the selected material, you can choose from the available base colors. You also select one accent color that is applied consistently to all accent pieces, including the frame, vents, image border, and USB-C support wedge. The large right panel can be Plain, Diamond, or Carbon Fiber. Plain has no built-in pattern, making it a good option if you want to add your own artwork later using acrylic paint markers, decals, or another finishing method.

The Standard version includes the classic AYN logo and does not include a custom image or engraved text. You can still choose your available base color, accent color, and right-panel pattern.

Yes. Choose Custom Text, Custom Image, or the Full Set for both. Text can be previewed, resized, and positioned in the live configurator. For images, a high-resolution landscape file close to the 64 x 38 mm print area works best. Logos, artwork, gaming images, and personal photos can all be used.

Yes. The image faceplates are magnetic, so they can be removed and swapped. Additional faceplates can be ordered with different accent-matching borders, standard or custom logos, artwork, themes, or personal photos such as a pet, family member, or significant other.

Current production time is approximately 2 to 3 weeks, and orders may take up to 3 weeks during periods of high order volume. Modz Studio is currently a one-person shop, and every dock is printed, assembled, inspected, and tested to order. Shipping transit time begins after production is complete.
